I'm in search of some information of a good treatment center for a homeless alcoholic. I've called multiple places and they don't make it easy for someone who is ready to change. She only has state insurance and of course no money. Thank in advance.
John D.: Crisis clinic is a good resource - 866-789-1511

Is there a nearby safe homeless shelter than can also help with potential addiction/mental illness assessment and treatment. Hoping someone can speak from some experience - you work there, you used their services, you know someone who has, etc. If this is too sensitive to share, would you PM me any information? Could use some advice, thank you!
Kate R.: Agree with above comments, especially DESC. However, would also consider just calling 211 during business hours to get assistance through the county in finding the right resource. King County also keeps a good resource list at http://crisisclinic.org
