Founded in 2015 by Lilly & Barry van Gerbig, Fair Trade Outfitters is a retail women's apparel, home & accessories store that ONLY sells brands we deem as "Fair Trade." That means that anyone involved in the manufacturing of the garment/product is paid a fair "living" wage, given a safe working environment, and fair working hours. Whether it's made in the USA, India, Guatemala, or Nepal ... the goal is to start thinking about where our clothes come from, and how anyone connected with the production of them can look forward to a better life ... housing, nutrition & education for their children ... the groundwork for a thriving future. All this, plus the great styles that are now available, mean you can feel great about what you put on every day ... knowing you're making the world a better place.
